No invitation needed. Parents and mentors sign up directly at app.mintbotics.co and pick their team from a list — here's exactly how.
Unlike coaches and treasurers, parents and mentors self-serve. Just go to app.mintbotics.co and click Create account.
Have your district, program (FLL / FRC / FTC), and team name or number handy — you'll pick them from a list.
You'll check a box confirming you've read your team's Reimbursement Policy before joining.
Faster with Google or Microsoft; email sign-up adds one quick verification step.
Go to app.mintbotics.co and click Create account. Already have one? Use Sign in instead.
Submit, review, and pay out robotics reimbursements across districts, schools, programs, and teams — all in one place.
Reviewing the program first? Read the reimbursement policy
This is the same public page coaches and treasurers see, but instead of waiting for an email, parents and mentors just click straight in.
Pick whichever is easiest — Google, Microsoft, or a personal email with a password.
Unlike the invite screen coaches and treasurers see, this one's generic — no role or team is decided until step 3. Just click the Google button.
Pick your Gmail account, confirm, and you're done — Google sign-up skips email verification since Google already confirmed you own the address.
Click Microsoft instead of Google if that's the account you'd rather use — everything else about this screen is identical.
This mirrors the Coach & Treasurer Microsoft flow exactly — mintbotics is a newer app, so the notice is expected. Click Accept to continue.
Type your email and choose a password. Once it shows the green checkmark, click Continue.
Google and Microsoft already proved you own that inbox — a fresh email address hasn't, so mintbotics sends a 6-digit code to confirm it's really you.
Enter the following verification code when prompted:
To protect your account, do not share this code.
Type the code into the six boxes and click Continue. You'll land straight on the Get Started page — no need to check email again after this.
However you signed up, you land here next — this is where you actually connect to your student's team.
Ask your student's coach if you're unsure which district, program, or team to select — names must match exactly what's already set up in mintbotics.
Check "I have read and agree to the Reimbursement Policy" — tap the policy link first if you want to read it — then click Join team.
Click Join team and you land here, with your role now showing Parent Mentor next to your name.
Create a new reimbursement request for your team.
View and track all your reimbursement submissions.
See your team roster, coach assignments, and school/program details.
Parents and mentors submit and track their own requests, rather than reviewing everyone else's — so the dashboard is built around that:
One last thing — click your avatar in the top right to open your Profile, then add how you'd like to be reimbursed.
This is where reimbursement payments actually reach you, so it's worth filling in before your first request.
Fill in what you can, then click Save profile.
Mailing address and Zelle information used for reimbursement.
No — parents and mentors are self-serve. Just go to app.mintbotics.co and click Create account. Coaches and treasurers are the roles that come from an emailed invite.
Double-check the exact district, program, and FLL Division with your student's coach — team names and numbers must match what's already set up in mintbotics. If it's genuinely missing, ask your coach or district admin to confirm the team exists yet.
Check spam and junk first. Confirm the email address shown on the Verify screen is spelled correctly (use the pencil icon to edit it), then tap Resend and wait a minute.
Reach out to your student's coach or your district admin — they can help move your account to the correct team.
"Member" is just a placeholder shown while you're still on the Get Started/join-team screen. Once you finish and land on your dashboard, mintbotics assigns your real role — Parent Mentor — and that's what shows next to your name from then on.
Google or Microsoft is the quickest — one click, no code to check. A personal email works everywhere but adds the one-time verification step.
You can visit Profile any time by clicking your avatar in the top right — but it's worth doing before your first request, since that's how mintbotics knows where to send your reimbursement.
We're building out the mintbotics Help Center for every role on your team.
Head to app.mintbotics.co, click Create account, and you'll be looking at your student's team in about two minutes.
